The Primary PE and Sport Premium is government funding provided to primary schools to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE, sport and physical activity. At St Mary’s, we use this funding to strengthen staff expertise, broaden the range of sporting opportunities available, increase pupils’ participation in physical activity and support all children to develop healthy, active lifestyles. The report below explains how we used the funding during the 2025–26 academic year, the impact it had on pupils and how these improvements will be sustained.
